SRI Group Global, an international group active in Financial Advisory and Corporate Investment Banking, with a team comprising Managing Director Massimo Domini and Senior Analyst Christian Valoppi, advised IKN Srl (Institute of Knowledge & Networking), an Italian company engaged in designing and creating business events and training for middle managers and executives, on the sale of 100% of its share capital to Monforte Capital Partners.
Headquartered in Milan, IKN is a leading Italian player in management training and business events, with 39 years of activity and more than 38,000 companies, 99,000 participants and 18,000 speakers and trainers involved in its programmes. The Company offers proprietary events, including industry events, working groups and webinars, as well as online, classroom, in-house and on-demand training and executive masterclasses, across sectors such as Banking & Insurance, Data, AI & Tech, Pharma, Energy & Utilities and Life Sciences.
The transaction is part of Monforte‘s buy-and-build strategy in the training sector. Following the acquisitions of Agenzia Formativa Dante Alighieri (AFDA) and Dinamica Job Academy (DJA), IKN adds a further building block to the platform Monforte is developing in online and corporate training.
IKN’s shareholders reinvested part of the proceeds in the Group and will continue to lead the company, closely overseeing its development.
In addition to SRI Group Global, IKN was advised by the law firm De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani.
Monforte Capital Partners was advised by Spada Partners on the financial aspects and by Eptalex on both the tax and legal aspects of the transaction.
Massimo Domini, Managing Director of SRI Group, stated: “This result perfectly illustrates how SRI Group operates when our clients open up their capital. We place the utmost care in finding the ideal partner, one capable of building a genuine industrial project aimed at growing the company. Beyond a well-recognised brand, IKN brings distinctive and solid expertise to the platform Monforte is building, and the continuity ensured by IKN’s shareholders is exactly what is needed to make this kind of combination successful.”
