SRI Group Global, an international firm active in Corporate Investment Banking and Financial Advisory, with a team led by Chairman Giulio Gallazzi, has invested jointly with Novalux, the holding company of Swinger International founder Mathias Facchini, and Rams Global, a Turkish-based group active in real estate development, in Etro SpA, the historic Italian fashion maison.

The three investors have reached a 49% stake by acquiring the shares held by Gefin SpA, the holding company of the founding family, and by subscribing to a capital increase aimed at supporting Etro’s new strategic plan. L Catterton, the private equity fund of the Arnault family which is led in Italy by Managing Partner Luigi Feola, will own the remaining 51% stake.

This transaction represents a major opportunity for Etro and for the new shareholders, who aim to provide strong external support to the brand’s future strategies and its positioning in the global luxury lifestyle landscape.

Giulio Gallazzi, Chairman of SRI Group, commented: “We firmly believe in Etro’s great growth potential, particularly in its ability to expand into new markets, as already demonstrated by the Etro Residences initiative. In our view, Etro will represent a success story thanks to the solid managerial capabilities identified, which will enable the company to fully leverage the opportunities arising from this new partnership.

Following the transaction, the new shareholder structure has confirmed its confidence in the company’s management, particularly in CEO Fabrizio Cardinali. Faruk Bülbül, representing Rams Global, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.

SRI Group’s Advisory division assisted Novalux on the financial aspects of the transaction, while Rothschild, with a team led by Italy CEO Irving Bellotti, advised the Etro family and L Catterton.
