30% of Wee acquired
Banca del Fucino acquires 30% of Wee, an Italian company founded in 2010, specialising in engineering services in the integrated water cycle sector.
The transaction marks the roman private bank’s entry into the water sector, strengthening its role in supporting the environmental economy, in line with one of its strategic objectives of distinctive positioning in Italy. ‘This investment is consistent with our strategic objective of being not only a bank for the territory, but also a bank for the environment. In carrying out this operation, we have assessed the multiple opportunities it can generate, up to and including synergies with other sectors,’ says CEO Francesco Maiolini.
